Shadow of the Day - Linkin Park
I close both locks below the window
I close both blinds and turn away
Sometimes solutions aren't so simple
Sometimes good bye's the only way
And the sun will set for you
The sun will set for you
And the shadow of the day
Will embrace the world in grey
And the sun will set for you
In cards and flowers on your window
Your friends all plead for you to stay
Sometimes beginnings aren't so simple
Sometimes good bye's the only way
And the sun will set for you
The sun will set for you
And the shadow of the day
Will embrace the world in grey
And the sun will set for you
And the shadow of the day
Will embrace the world in grey
And the sun will set for you
And the shadow of the day
Will embrace the world in grey
And the sun will set for you

Once in a blue moon...
Well if anything there is anything you should do, try avoiding taking a flight out of Chicago.I agree having come to Chicago airport only three times, I am not in a position to judge. But cannot help but state the fact that all the three times, my flight has been delayed. I guess leaving Chicago airport on time happens only once in a blue moon... but that's not the reason for the title.
Catching up with a good friend is always a good thing. But meeting her at an airport halfway across the world in between flights after almost two years is too good to be true. Well, thats what exactly happened. Seeing Kaddu at the Chicago airport made me think of swimming(I know weird analogy but please let me elaborate!) You know how they say, no matter what you do, once you learn swimming you can never forget it...well its something like that with friends... the comfort level, the slangs(tendi!) and laugh-out-so-loud-that-people-around-you-think-you-are-being-impolite came back instantaneously. It was so good to catch up with her...
Thanks Kaddu for making it the best 25-30 minutes I spent in a long time. And for that one reason, I now temporarily will forgive Chicago Airport and United for making me spend an extra four hours at the airport.

Second time lucky?
It has been an interesting summer so far. The internship has proved to be the ideal summer job. I love the work and the best part is I get to travel. I have traveled quite a bit and I wanted to put down my travel experiences. So I thought to myself, why not blog? Well its my second attempt at blogging(the first one being a part of a graded assignment!). So hopefully I shall stick around longer this time!
